Catch-basin, curb-inlet, and trench-drain grates carry vehicle and bicycle traffic and need both a load rating and a slot pattern that won’t trap bicycle tires. Our ductile-iron grates ship hot-dip galvanized for storm-environment durability; composite versions are available for sites where conductivity or scrap-theft is a concern.
We routinely match SPPWC 311-4 (24”×24” catch basin) and adjacent SPPWC catch-basin configurations, with bicycle-safe slot widths under 7/8” per California municipal guidance.
